'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League comeback

Kane marks his century goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has stated that his desire in going back to the Premier League has lessened and he is open to negotiate a new deal with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is presently halfway through the four-year deal he agreed to when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the summer of 2023.

The experienced forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German team, contributing them win the 2024-25 Bundesliga championship - which marked the first important trophy of his distinguished career.

Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would be pleased to see Kane return to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England captain has now suggested that he is no longer as eager about coming back home as he earlier was, and would certainly think about prolonging his time in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could absolutely see that," he remarked.

"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be willing to talk and have an honest conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so progresses and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have learned in my career is that different options and different periods happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top scorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the quickest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five leagues, attaining the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a title had avoided him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy barren spell, but now believes it has made him eager for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."

Future Prospects
